Two bars in Los Angeles have secured spots on the prestigious “50 Best Bars in North America” list, as reported by North America’s 50 Best Bars.
The selection was made by a panel of 270 anonymous experts, including bartenders, bar owners, media personnel, and seasoned “cocktail connoisseurs” from across Canada, America, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
Thunderbolt, located in Echo Park and renowned for its creative cocktails and Southern-style cuisine, ranked 8th. Mírate, situated in the Los Feliz neighborhood and celebrated for its innovative takes on classic cocktails, came in at 46th.
The list also featured two San Francisco bars, with True Laurel and Pacific Cocktail Haven placing 30th and 38th, respectively.
Launched in 2022, the North America’s 50 Best Bars initiative aims to highlight the exceptional quality of the region’s drinks industry and establish North America as a premier cocktail destination, according to its official website.
