A tragic accident claimed the life of a motorcyclist early this morning at the border of Los Feliz and Silver Lake, according to police reports.
The collision happened around 2 a.m. at the intersection of Hyperion Avenue and Tracy Street. The motorcyclist, traveling northbound on Hyperion, collided with a southbound vehicle, stated LAPD Officer Charles Miller.
The motorcyclist, a 23-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officer Miller noted that there is no evidence to suggest that the incident was a hit-and-run.
