A report of an armed man on a Metro bus resulted in a standoff in Glendale on Monday.
Deputies arrived around 10 a.m. at a bus stopped near the intersection of Los Feliz Road and Central Avenue. The bus was evacuated, and no injuries were reported.
The individual remained on the bus for over an hour before being taken into custody. The reasons for his refusal to exit the bus were not immediately known.
Multiple law enforcement vehicles were present at the intersection, which was blocked off. Glendale PD posted a notice on Twitter, stating: 🚨 “Police Activity 🚨 Please avoid the area of Los Feliz Blvd. and San Fernando Rd. until further notice.”
