Calling LA Artists: Design the Official 2026 World Cup Poster and Win $20,000!

Attention all Los Angeles County residents aged 18 and older with a passion for art and design!

The Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee has announced an exciting opportunity for local artists to be a part of history. They are calling on creatives from across L.A. County to design the official regional poster for the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

In collaboration with the Annenberg Foundation, the Host Committee is reaching out to emerging talent to showcase their creativity.

“This public poster contest aims to ignite enthusiasm in Los Angeles for the largest single-sport event ever, while tapping into the city’s vibrant creative community and highlighting its central role in North American soccer,” said tournament organizers in a statement. “Los Angeles has been a key player in the soccer story of North America, hosting major events like the 1994 World Cup and the 1999 Women’s World Cup, and will be a main city for eight matches in 2026.”

These eight matches at SoFi Stadium will include the U.S. Men’s National Team’s first and third group matches, three additional group stage games, two Round of 32 knockout matches, and one quarterfinal.

Eligible L.A. County residents (18+) are invited to submit one entry per registration. For contest details and to register, click here.

The winning design will earn its creator $20,000, while three finalists will each receive $2,500.

The contest opened at 8 a.m. on Tuesday and will close on November 17.
